Changsha Rail Transit

Changsha Metro (Changsha Metro) serves urban rail transit in Changsha, Hunan Province, China, including subway systems, maglev systems, etc. Its first line was opened on April 29, 2014. Its Orange Island Station is the first subway station on Jiangzhongzhou Island in China. Its Maglev Express Line is the first medium- and low-speed magnetic levitation line with complete independent intellectual property rights. .
As of August 2017, there are 3 Changsha rail transit lines: Changsha Rail Transit Line 1, Changsha Rail Transit Line 2, and Changsha Maglev Express Line. The line covers the entire Changsha main urban area and Changsha County, with a total of 46 stations. 1 interchange station, operating mileage of 68.8 kilometers.
As of August 2017, there are 4 (segments) of Changsha rail transit under construction: Phase 3, Phase 1, Line 4, Line 5, and Line 6 of the middle line. According to Changsha City Master Plan and Comprehensive Traffic Planning, Changsha Urban Rail Transit Network (Metro) consists of 12 lines with a total length of 456 kilometers and 333 stations, including 45 interchange stations. The central city network density is 0.6 km. / square kilometers. On April 28, 2015, Changsha Rail Transit Line 2 was opened for one year, sending a total of 69.477 million passengers. In 2016, the annual passenger traffic of Changsha Rail Transit exceeded 160 million passengers, and the average daily passenger traffic was 438,300. On April 29, 2017, the passenger flow of Changsha Rail Transit single-day line reached 957,400. The single-day maximum passenger flow records of Lines 1 and 2 reached 329,100 and 628,300 respectively.
